PAS 125 is a vehicle body repair process specification from the National Standards Body, BSI.

Its aim is to ensure bodyshops can carry out professional repairs safely to accident damaged cars . It does this by outlining processes and procedures, with particular focus on training competent personnel, maintaining appropriate equipment, adopting the right repair procedures and using quality materials.

The industry-recognised qualification places emphasis on ongoing repair process management and continuous improvement and whilst it is in no way a legislative requirement, many leading insurers will now only pass vehicle body repair work to bodyshops in possession of PAS 125 certification.
